FlxCamera / Multiple cameras

For the games I am building, having access to Flixel's FlxCamera functionality would be very useful.

Are there plans to implement it in the near future? Is it something that could be imported by the Stencyl community?

And which functionality you exactly want? If you want multiple cameras, you can just use list to store positions (x&y) of your "cameras", then use move camera to x,y where x,y is position of your camera in list.

Indeed, it doesn't. You're probably looking at a newer version of Flixel then.

I've never looked too closely before, but I believe flixel's version of multiple cameras can render to a separate buffer (or a FlxSprite even) which can be displayed on the screen. Think like picture-in-picture displays.

I dunno if that's niccosw's goal, but it's an interesting one.

Darkhog & Hectate - I'm interested in FlxCamera's split screen functionality. You can see an example of it here:

Alexin - Yeah, this is one of the newer advanced Flixel features along with pathfinding, replay, tilemaps, etc.

Yeah, I've several times suggested adding viewports (on old beta forums and here, when I dig my post I'll put link here).

+1 for wanting this! Would really expand the design of multiplayer games.
