We've been in the ed-tech radar from day 1, when none other than Audrey Watters posted about us and framed us in an educational context
, which led to us being picked up by Richard Byrne
, a popular ed-tech blogger. More recently, Audrey blogged again about us on Hack Education
In early 2014, we launched a mini-site dedicated to educators
. This site presents a compelling case for using Stencyl in the classroom and backs this up with our Educator's Kit.Visit the Education SiteEducator's Kit
At the end of 2014, we launched our Educator's Kit
. This kit is a free, printable packet of materials that any educator can use to "teach" using Stencyl. It includes a simple curriculum, setup instructions for self-installation or passing to IT and some flyers/letters for posting up at school or handing to colleagues / parents / decisions makers to spread the word about Stencyl.Get the Educator's Kit(Note: The projects that come bundled with the Educator's Kit require Stencyl 3.2 or later to function)What comes next?
With the release of the Educator's Kit, we're going to let the feedback roll in. While we have some concrete ideas about where we'd like to head next, we'd like to hear from our educators to make sure our plans are in alignment with your needs. Want to get in touch?
