Hello all,
Some of you may know my "Demo- Upgradable Shooter" in the StencylForge. If you have, you may have wondered what it would look like if someone took it and really made it into a full game.

Well, that is precisely what I have done. The foundation is still quickly recognizable... but that will be all. The game has been revamped in almost every way possible. I would go into details, but all you really need to know is that the game is here: http://www.stencyl.com/game/play/18224 ;)

If you need help, send me a PM. Even if I haven't been on in the forums in ages, I still receive those messages via email notifications. You can also reply to any of my forum posts, regardless of the age (especially if I created it), and I will likely reply.

If you want to see the programming behind certain types of games, feel free to check out my "Demo-" games on StencylForge (http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,16160.0.html)

LOL, what happened to not using small time increments in timer functions? :P

Fine by me. I'll take a 60 shot per second robot (tri shot with 50 ms interval).

BAHAHA. :o
Do NOT PM me your questions, because I likely will not respond. If I have replied to your question on the forum, keep using that topic. Thanks!

Thanks Gruff. Dunno that game though.

Photon, you assume it's created based on a timer... ;)

Per chance did you use step size instead?

I used a ton of "delay" strategies in the game (have a delay attribute, which is "always" being decreased, and once zero, do something and reset the delay attribute). Those make using custom pause functions way easier. I did have a few time delays, but in my next game, I hope to be entirely delay-based.
