Playing with Time

Hi all,

Looking to make a game that does the following:

1. Each day at 1pm (english time) a sprite performs an animation.
2. Each time the animation is different, depending on the day.

Hope that makes sense. Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Mark

There's a Date Manager in the Forge...maybe it's what you need.

Thanks for your reply. Looks like part of the puzzle but the next question would be how to trigger different animations on different dates?

Something like
Always
[If <Get day of the week> = <Monday> as text]
[Switch Animation to <My_Animation> for self]

Do that for every day you wish to change the animation.

Excellent! Many thanks. And how could you get the sprite/actor to follow a particular path and perform a particular action and then match the day with that animation?

      Do more stuff here.....

There's a follow path behavior in the Forge, but I've never used it...guess you could use a list for every day of the week and have that list replace the one that's used in the follow path behavior. (that can be done after the " Do more stuff here....." in the example above).
