Hey guys I am at heart a very solid musician/ songwriter. I haven't wrote very much for video games but I insure you it would be extremely unique and good.

Anyways and good programmers I am trying to start learning the basics. I think it would be cool, and I would like to meet one person who struggle with music and we could trade back and forth, I am a real nice laid back dude, and would like a "relationship" if thats what you want to call it in this capacity.

Any suggestions on where to start would be greatly appreciated.

I do not need to much help coding as of right now I have one issue that has been troubling me that I would write a song for someone. And I want to start work on a new game that a person to scratch my back and I scratch theres/ relationship would be cool.

if you are interested I can offer very small amounts of rough samples in the video game genre. I do have a tremendous amount of other styles though where you might be able to see my writing skills and abilities. Thanks.

Hello Aron,
I don't need any music right now (and is doubtful that I will need it in the future), but I like helping those who WANT to learn to code. Instead of music, what I would ask is that a portion of the proceeds from your game goes to charity (details here: http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,18116.0.html).

If you are interested, feel free to stop by my livestream (livestream.com/stencyl).

Also, if you want to know where to start, here's a great tutorial series (5 parts, links in "updates" for the later parts) to learn the ropes: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Abigayl/stencyl-2-0-tutorial-1-basics
Don't look to me but rather to the One who is the reason for what I do. :)

If you need help, send me a PM. Even if I haven't been on in the forums in ages, I still receive those messages via email notifications. You can also reply to any of my forum posts, regardless of the age (especially if I created it), and I will likely reply.

If you want to see the programming behind certain types of games, feel free to check out my "Demo-" games on StencylForge (http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,16160.0.html)

Hey thank you, I will def consider helping, I am very very far from the goal of completing a complete polished game let alone making money so that will depend on how developing goes. Best of luck and thank you for the link!

I think you missed the point of my post: doesn't matter the time or the amount, as long as it is reasonable. I've helped out people who have been a year or more away from their goals.
