Guide Spoogo around each level while collecting gems and  power-gems. Use your tractor beam to help you navigate the level by stacking crates or ice cubes, pulling platforms and reaching places to collect items -while your aim is to reach the goal flag.

While using your tractor beam, Spoogo cannot be hit by crates or cubes - useful for stacking and jumping vertically, but they can still collide with each other. This can be also used for deflecting enemy fire, or by stacking to create a wall.

Gain a star for collecting all gems, power gems and for setting a good level complete time (beating each levels star time).

Use arrow keys or A,W,S,D to move left/right, jump and drop from hanging.

Use left mouse to drag crates and cubes to help navigate and reach higher levels. (also can be used to deflect enemy fire!)

Use 'i' ingame to bring up the in game quick info board.

Wow man, what an amazingly polished looking game. Love the back grounds and the atmosphere of the worlds. That red bird didn't look very scary but took you down with 1 hit! I assume you use the mouse to drag and drop the crates, then WSAD to move is it?

Looks like great fun, nice original idea.

Thanks - needs some more work in areas, but mostly polish and stuff. I may tweak and alter some more things (still a couple of temporary sounds in there for example too), but on the whole I'm pleased with how its gone mostly. The basic idea is you use crates/cubes etc to reach levels that regular jumping doesn't allow. You can also use the things you pick up to block enemy fire and walk past floor things like spikes etc.

Yeah the bird - I wanted it just to be something you just avoid, but goes with a bang if you hit it. lol Later levels they sh*t explosive turds lol firing enemies fire rate increases, and other things not seen in the video make life difficult. On the whole, collect gems, powergems (big blue ones), and get a time lower than the set level time. Gaining each gives a star at level end. 27 levels, last level is boss level.

The game seems pretty complex, but as the same time doable. My type of Game. Thanks for sharing. A lot of Multi-tasking as well. Cool. :D

:) Its not too complex really, but you do have to keep an eye on what you are doing. (for example, like you say, multitasking - theres places where you can get shot at, but also get killed if you don't keep your eyes open - where its also useful to block the fire by carrying a crate/cube with you).

Its mostly done anyhow - but Im slowing down at the moment due to other commitments in my spare time - but im hoping to have it finished over the next couple of weeks.

yeah lol. Its 2 weeks later and while ive made progress and its in an even more complete state.. im still not happy with it quite yet. So gonna keep going , tweaking, polishing etc. :)

New game video - showing more in-game as it is. Game is almost complete now but for a few little bits and peices. Done just about all I feel I can with it to be honest thought I'm sure there's plenty I could have done, but I've worked on it on/off for a few months now, so almost time just to let go.

The graphics  are pretty cool. The winter level reminds me of right now because its cold. Well Done. I like how the character transforms near the foghorn. How do you plan on marketing the game? Just curious.

Its on Fgl at the moment - been there for a week or so now - probably bad timing with xmas/new year, but it does have bids so far.

I have another small winter themed game i made in 5 days towards the latter end of making spoogo - a simple puzzle platformer thing - this went on fgl this weekend and was reviewed today and got its first bid more than twice the amount of spoogo's first bid.

Funny how things go. lol
