I just released my new horror game Lakeview Cabin: http://gamejolt.com/games/action/lakeview-cabin/18469/
I did not want to post it on the other Announce your game board because of the younger audience. Hopefully this Subscribers Only section eliminates a bit of that concern. :)

It seems that people are enjoying it. Hopefully I can develop the core concept into a more full-fledged experience.

Here's some pieces about it on IndieStatik and IndieGames, hopefully you play the game before reading them:

I'm not really into this, but you have done a great job with the level of creativity and surprise!

Outstanding work!

Awesome work! Scared the hell out of me!

I don't think the huge warning in the beginning is neccessary, lessens the impact of what happens in the game, but whatever :D

Hi Hypnohustla,

Can't you make a kickstarter project out of this?
The attention you are getting will probably be a start for funding for a full-fledged game with multiple scenes!

I dont think Kickstarter is allowed here in Finland. And if it was, I think I'd be able to develop the game without it. But the attention might really help with a Greenlight campaign.

There was one Kickstarter campaign that was illegal in Finland, but that's because they used the words donation and gift, etc. That part made it resemble collecting, which is what is apparently not allowed in Finland. At least that's what I get from what I've read.

Anyway, looks great so far. Great artwork and gameflow. Would suggest that you add a timer to actions, so that you can't chop wood as fast as you can mash the buttons. Makes it sound weird and look weird.

Quick question. Got an e-mail from Tom @ Newgrounds about some issues with their API - are you using the OpenFL branch for this?

(I don't think so but wanted to make sure.)
