As long as the game is active in the background, you can consider it one (1) user session. So if you put your game in the background and when you open it again you are able to continue to play, it is still considered one (1) user session. If you put your game in the background and when you open it again your game restarts from the splash screen (or your initial scene), then you are beginning a new user session.

Thanks Abliblablobla,
but on IOS, this isn't so true. If I close (background) my game, then when I replay it, no full screen ad are showed. While, if I re-initialize admob, I can see full screen ad. That's strange.

P.s.: No problem with android.

P.P.s.: is there a problem if I initialize interstitial "every" time load an ad ?

As of now in iOS you have to initialize an AdMob fullscreen ad every time you use it. This is a bug, so if everything were working correctly, you wouldn't have to initialize a fullscreen ad every time you want to use it. This bug is already fixed in the upcoming AdMob Extension 3.0.

Hi Kazetoon,

there is, if you are on IOS. There is a block that detect if iADS fails to load, and if it's so, it give you a possibility to load admob. You can find it on    add event-mobile-ads.

I think Kezetoon is asking if the new extension will allow more control over Admob ads (not iAds). The answer is yes. You will have full control over banners and basic control over interstitials. The new extension will be available very soon.

IMPORTANT
A new version of this extension is available here. The AdMob Extension [2.1] will no longer work from August 1st. Any game using this extension and published before August 1st will continue to work and receive ads, but any new game published after that date will require the new version of this extension.

As of July 5th the AdMob extension [2.1] is DEPRECATED.
