Would you pay for an "improved Stencylforge" ? If so what would be your price range?  :)

What is the point of this poll?  Are you thinking of making some third-party market?

For stencyl I already pay for an improved version (3.0).

But for stencylforge I think it's fine. So no.

I don't think I would pay a monthly fee for something I didn't know what it would give me. I would however pay for high quality assets like on the Unity asset store where you can buy a certain asset for a certain price.

The community aspect of StencylForge is cool. I would hate to have to pay extra for it.

What I would like is that publishers of really good content get a bonus / reduction of the stencyl subscription.  (Like if you have x-downloads of a behavior you get x-cents reduction of the year subscription)

Yeah that would be awesome! But only for free stuff in case also my suggestion would go through. I like the idea to be able to pay for good assets as well, I think that may draw some professional artists to the scene (like it has done with unity asset store), combine it with an incentive to post really good stuff and the forge will become so good people using other engines will get stencyl just to have access to the forge itself :)

Stealing without giving credit would be a crime if it is CC 3.0-BY.

Stealing CC0 without giving credit wouldn't be a crime of course.

A solution could be that the author can give credit instructions in CC3.0 like "You don't need to credit me if you use this in a game but if you share the source then credit should be given". I don't think you should let the possibility of a few bad eggs ruin a good opportunity. It seems to work quite well in other places like OGA and unity asset store

You're also aware that most intermediate to expert Stencylers usually avoid premade behaviors and most usually try to find an artist for their assets?
For them asking for additional payment for the use of the forge wouldn't have a positive effect and I bet that's not what the Stencyl devs want.

There are no plans to update the StencylForge, so any market would have to be third-party, and it would probably work as mikhog said (a sales fee system).  Shopcyl is the only market I know of to attempt Stencyl support, and it was abandoned due to lack of interest.
