Tiles being sensors

I would like the tiles being able to be sensors to be able to make stuff like lava and water.

Creative use of the Tile API could give you something to the effect of what you want. You could check the tiles at your actor's position and then use the Tile ID to identify it as lava/water/etc.

If you're looking for a responsive effect that deals x damage or what have you, creating those tiles with no collision bounds and then putting a region over top would be the best option. If you're looking for some sort of buoyancy then sensors would not be the best option at all.
