Hello,

I have a problem with the sound quality on mobile. All sounds start off between 0.5s to 1s after the action (hit button/actor) and it is very annoying. I don't understand where the problem comes. I use Audacity to convert into ogg.

Can you help me please?

Test my game on android if you want to understand what I mean.

Thank you.

I have read in several forums that it is a current problem of the android O.S.

Many android mobile devices have sound delay. It seems that depending of the model of your mobile device, the sound delay will be higher or lower.

In my tablet, the sound delay is 0.3s, a little uncomfortable, but acceptable.

It is announced that version 3.1 of Stencyl solves that problem in some devices. Delayed playback on some Android devices has been fixed.

The games that I make with Stencyl have a sound delay of 0.3s in my tablet.

Even the famous Angry Birds also has 0.3s

However, I have tested your game (Ralphy Soccer), and it has a sound delay of 0.5s

Have you made this game with the versiĆ³n 3.1 of Stencyl?

Hi liberado.

Yes I use the 3.1 version of Stencyl.

I tested the game on my Sony Xperia Z1 but also on a Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia SP. The problem is always the same ...

This is really problematic for me because I want to create a new game based on the sound: when the player hears a noise it should respond. :(

For Android?, you should forget that idea.
