Gloopy 1500 downloads in 2 days (iOS)

It seems silly for Apple to release your game before the ads are ready, especially since it's their own ad network.  Maybe if you were to delay your next game by a week, the ads would be ready in time?

I agree - sometimes you get the most 'views/downloads' when an App just releases, so iADs should be on there when it's released.  But for whatever reason it takes upwards of a week.  I think mine average around 3 days from initial release.  I remember when my app first came out it didn't have Ads and I panicked thinking it was code.  But alas, it was on Apples end.  As long as when you tested it , had that temp banner displayed..

One thing I noticed about your game is the contrast of colors, it really makes the game 'pop' out at ya, and I think that's important and that's no fluke!  I think App logo and accompanying screenshots are very important to grab the users attention/downloads.  Hope it keeps going =}

Well I released a game one month ago and no iAds are showing in reporting page. I've emailed Apple one week ago and no answer. Another 2 games were released on 28 June. I will wait a couple of days and I will email them. This strange things started to happen after they remove that option from itunes connect where you manually turn on/off the iAds.

On topic: 1500 downloads in 2 days is good. Usually downloads in first days are high due to the visibility of your app/game in "new released" category. If you keep this number in time then is ok :)

Hi sorry I havnt had chance to get on here last couple of weeks,
work kinda took over. Yes iAds started finally working last week and I averaging
Around 250 - 300 downloads a day on weekdays and around 500 -1000 for Sat & Sun.

I hope you managed to get past the level okay!

Currently working on next game which is an adventure in the style
Of a Hitchcock film. Gloopy was just a test run to learn the process of
Publishing to the App Store before taking on a bigger project.

That's a big number for a game that hasn't received many ratings or has gamecenter.  I want in on the secret ;)  Congrats hopefully the bigger project surpasses
