In the first iteration the backup folder was configurable but I think I disabled it. I can't remember.

The extension simply uses Java's built-in compression mechanism to compress the game folder and copies it to another one. It's just an automated process of what I manually do.

You can always choose to backup to a Dropbox folder.

How do I get the directory of the game's source directory? Are there any files I have to avoid like .DS_Store files or desktop.ini but specific to StencylWorks?

Locations.getGameDirectory(String game) : String

What do you mean about the files to avoid?

The extension currently lets the user specify the backup folder. I'm revising it today.

Compiled/generated things, logs, databases, temporary files, etc.
