Yeah I hear ya on that - it's quite difficult to get on that list nowadays, lots of competition that have a lot of content and effects in their Apps.

I like your game, simple but polished and sharp!  Keep plugging away..

But anyway, i don't know what's going wrong with all my Apps. I'm a maker, i'm a creator, but i'm NOT a salesman or Marketing Guru. I hate Marketing and great words like "Buy this, it is the best you can get" Ohhhh i hate all this lies.

And so i have only about 80 Downloads of  "SWIPEZZ".

I know, we all have the dream to create a million seller. But let's be realistic. In Example "BALANZZE" was over a year and a half in development (including Updates and a lot of bug fixing and 2 new Episodes". And then i earned only 200 Downloads ? #WTF

I know, my games are not the ultimative best games ever.  I'm just a one man show, but a one man show with passion and love for that what i'm doing !

How can i  get more downloads ?

Any Suggestions ?

That's unfortunately typical of iOS downloads.  Half of my games have under 300 downloads.  Getting free exposure is really difficult as any space on the web that draws in mobile gamers will have lots of other developers trying to get the attention of those users (I've read about review sites getting 100+ emails a day).  Paid downloads guarantee users, but you likely won't profit from them.

I don't really have any suggestions other than keep making games and improving the quality of them, because any marketing you do will benefit from that.

Yeah I think it's common to have less then 500 downloads on most games you will submit... even if you like them a lot.

The only way I figured to get more then usual downloads is to get recognized by Apples featured list, Review sites, or independent sites / popular youtubers that recognize your game.

The market is saturated for sure since Flappy's success - everyone wants to make a simple one hit wonder.  I'm starting to focus more on one game idea, try to make it as innovative as possible, and go full steam (multiple levels, animations, etc.).

....on another hand it's your problem :) But most indie developers have them. I've got my app for the children "The Frog and Fish Storybook" which has more than 52 000 downloads, but I've earned less than 500USD. Standart price is 3.99USD,  three times I made it FREE and all the times it was mentioned in Apps Gone Free app. The next day it allways hits to TOP10 in US Free category in Books and Education, but the day it becomes not free there are no sales :)

This is very sad !!!Let's calculate! If you really had 52.000 x 2.80$ (70% from 3.99$) you would have 145.000 $ win!!!!! Holly Fu%&)(""!!  I feel so much pain in the ass my friend ! so much ! Sorry for that ! But this freaks me out !!


Maybe it could be a good idea , to bring it back as an update for free , but with Ads (AdMob)
