Grappling Hook?

Noticed there were a couple of things about a grappling hook in the forums. I searched for it on StencylForge, but didn't see it. Am I missing it or is it not around anymore?

I had one back when we were on a Java engine - but haven't spent time trying to fully port it over yet.  I'll try to get back to it soon.

I thought Stencyl was coded in Java which was why it can be slowish at times, but fast at others and very portable. But creator of this topic, do you mean a grappling hook behavior, or drawing?

StencylWorks itself uses Java and, about 1.5/2 years ago, games were coded in Java too. Now, they're coded in ActionScript 3.0 or iOS

A grappling hook behavior would be epic! Also, if they were coded in Java, how could they be put onto flash sites?

The closest I've gotten to a grappling hook so far (on the flash platform) is in this game (press space bar) -

But it just handles the grappling hook extension/retractions and basic (line) drawing.  I haven't handled the physics portion yet or the ability to use images to draw the grappling hook.

Could you take off jetpack from it? So we can examine actual grappling hook.

//edit: And I know there was better version of it where player could move towards hook with arrows. I remember it was with black rectangle sprite and presented along ledge climbing behavior.

No, I am 100% sure it is flash. I think it was on old site. Additional detail: it had S.Noni tileset and music and had same simple line drawing.

//EDIT: And I joined after switch to Flash so I missed java-based games and yet played this grappling hook via flash (I had problems with java in browser at the time I played it, so it certainly wasn't applet)

//edit #2: Yep, it was on old site and forge before wipe as JnR Addons.
