Turtles in the Sky - Coming to Flash [TIS]

Hello Community!

 I'm really late with this game journal as we are about 95% done with the game, but as they say, better late than never :-)
Anyways, say Hello to TIS or Turtles in the Sky!

Story
You play as a turtle as the protagonist in the story. The antagonist is an evil rabbit leader from another world. He and his army of evil robot rabbits have invaded turtle land and they are now looting turtle land's precious resources (GD coins). In this game, you'll have to fight their entire army which is located in space. In the final level, you'll fight the evil professor himself. (Spoiler Alert: Let's say that you have an ally with you to help you... heh) The guys over at FilmByte entertainment are making an awesome trailer for us! Gameplay
The movement mechanics are similar to Flappy Bird. Click to Flap, click to flap... hold A to jetpack. I like to call this game's genre, "side-scroller fixed velocity platformer adventure avoider super awesome sauce" type of game. Collect a certain amount of coins in order to pass the level with a bronze star whilst avoiding dangerous enemies such as Robo Robots, Robo Laser dudes, Fan traps, Spike traps, and the casual bomb that is about to destroy your turtle. You have one life and when you die, the level restarts instantly. Levels have checkpoints and different settings. Ground setting... Sky setting... and then finally Space setting where you fight the final boss and some really tough level designs. There are 9 power-ups you can obtain after reaching a certain number of stars that will definitely help you with your boss fights and levels. Future
Our plan is to sell it on www.fgl.com and then maybe have a mobile version for the game. Now, some level designing tweaks and SFX are left. I'll keep everyone updated! Thanks Stencylers for reading it if you've made it here.

We're just writing up our Indiegogo campaign at this point. Once the nice fellows at FilmByte Entertainment are done with the trailer, we'll be ready to launch! This'll be so exciting to keep the Stencyl community updated with. Hopefully, if our campaign is successful, we will use the money for further monetization schemes and hire some awesome to help us with a few stuff left (especially level design haha).

Which brings me to my next topic... what tips do you guys have for crowdfunding campaigns? What range goal is usually acceptable? How to get the campaign recognized? What perks should we offer?

Also, with the money we crowdfund (hopefully :-) ), what monetization networks should we use to advertise our game?

[NEWS UPDATE]

We will not be launching an IndieGoGo campaign because of the following reasons:

- We have enough little work to be able to buy or revenue share with a musician ourselves.

- We will be looking to sell TIS and/or obtain a sponsorship.

- We want to start monetizing TIS ASAP.
