We have no plans to host a jam, nor has Newgrounds reached out to hold one.

I might be interested in hosting the Stencyl Jam this year, I would provide the prizes, organise a little Judging panel.

Would this be in Europe or... global like Ludum?

@Jon, I hope colburt187 could host it :) ,
@colburt187, Sounds awesome :),
@frostypop, Its global, all online. Stencyl jam is a jam where you submit your game you created with Stencyl. Games are judged by selected judges. The prizes are usually something like this:

1st  $300 plus Studio License
2nd $150 plus Studio License
3rd $50 plus Studio License

Whoa , Whoa, lets stay on topic everyone. I created a  topic a while ago complaining about Stencyl's  interactivity here. But yeah I totally agree with what Max is saying.

I could also chip in some money to fund the game jam.

Colburt and Folmer will be organizing this jam. The exact format is still under discussion, but it will *not* be the usual 1 month deal like we've done in the past.

We'll share the details when they're hammered out.

This is all in early stages still but I'm excited to help make a 2016 Stencyl Jam happen. As we're still figuring out the details, feel free to offer suggestions or let us know what you'd like to see in a Stencyl Jam.
