Any of my mechanics and whatnot are for sale..

I have an idea for a game id like to make.  Ill update this with my ideas and thoughts on the game as i go.. ill also love input and even may ask for a vote on what to add..

What are your thoughts on telling people your idea and show your progress as you go in a journal.. maybe some ideas get taken here and there.. maybe not a full rip off of the game, maybe just mechanics.. any harm?

Z button to Jump
Zx2 to double jump
Arrows to move

Update. Added rain effects and Snow, gets a little laggy in snow region.. taking it out for now and will redo it
Update. added a waterfall the pushes you, next to make pools of water

A little update, optimized some code and added snow effects.. i set up the weather to start and stop depending on where the player goes....
To Dos; add hail, wind and heavy snow

Wind will make the player and enemies move slower against the wind and faster with it, and move the weather accordingly.  Heavy snow will pile up on the ground and make it harder for the player and enemies to move while in it.

What should hail do? damage player.. hit hard and knock player out of air? 
Suggestions on more weather effects? or any other effect they could have on in game?

coming along!!  Click the mouse to accelerate...  man.. i just need to figure out the traction for the tires, and maybe a little more play in the suspension, thoughts?
took me quite awhile to get it to this point.. i ran into a few unexpected things with using the joint extension haha... random points for joints that just made no sense to me.. create one wheel and connect a joint.. then go and do the same for the front wheel.. and then i need to limit the 2nd  joint because it was too far away from where i put it.. weird..... but the first didnt need limiting, and i made them the exact same way haha..
id like to make the vehicle into an actor type and you can just click and add your body and wheel actors to create the car.. like the explode on death behavior..  is there a good guide for that?

Update the post above to new game.. more terrain types... ill add something to adjust the suspension on the fly for testing here soon

Same here. Otherwise it does "feel" pretty good with the suspension.

yeah.. me too.. man... seems sometimes the mass is too much and the joints break.. still prototyping haha

i think i got the breaking fixed... too much tension now on shocks.. ill keep tweaking it.. let me know if the truck breaks again haha

hit enter to go to the next demo.. 2 so far... number on left side is number of water particles.. mouse actor will be invisible  final build

Mic test working in flash.. i plan to branch out to mobile soon!  takes mic input to manipulate a bar.. i used health bar example.. i forget whos.. liberado?

Fixed the feedback in the flash version of the mic input

Working on my puzzle platformer...  a hillbillie otter with a turtle side kick.  Turtle sprays water to aid in jumps, attack and destroy terrain.. thinking will use the water to interact  with puzzles also.  I was toying with the idea to go landscape and portrait during play..see higher up or farther out... thoughts on that?
