Actor doesn’t die

I have a platform that is spawned from a spawned and is supposed to shrink and die when coming in contact with the destroyer actor. However while the platforms spawn they neither shrink or die. Is there something I’m doing wrong thanks

There might be something else interfering with your system, but the code you posted won't do what you want. It kills and grows the actor in the same frame, so it will never execute the growth block for those 0.25 seconds. Try this insted:
Code: [Select]
Create a boolean called handle death or whatever you want.
If <not Handle Death>
     Set Handle Death to true
     grow block here
          Do after 0.25
              Kill self

Even without the grow block it still doesn’t work. Another thing that might be good to note is that when the elevator touches the destroyer it goes behind it (they’re on the same layer though).

Are you sure their collision boxes are set to collide with each other? Put some print statements in your code to see if they are registering a collision at all. That's the only other thing I can think of, from your description.
