Replace published game on Stencyl.com

I published a game to Stencyl.com, where it landed at http://www.stencyl.com/game/play/39553
Now I tried to replace it by a newer version, but it was sent to http://www.stencyl.com/game/play/39554

As I already distributed links to the game and my blog readers are playing it, I would very much like to upload the new version to 39553.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish that?

Maybe worth noting that I create the game on my Mac, but as I get an error compiling there, I export the game to a Windows machine to publish it there. Although the name of the game is the same, it could be that it gets some other ID while importing, so that  Stencyl does not see it as the same game.

That'd be my guess why you weren't able to replace the first version. As far as I know, there isn't a way to manually replace a game uploaded to this site.

What you might want to consider in the future is uploading to itch.io or GameJolt, where you'll have more control over the files as well as a larger filesize limit.

Thanks, I was just exploring that direction. Should have checked for upload option first... I'll redirect my blog players.
Any preference for itch or gamejolt? Just tried Kongregate, but a lot of adds there. Not in it for the money, just entertaining some fans ;)
