I'm also having a problem downloading the Android SDK with Stencyl 4.0. I've reinstalled Stencyl, redownloaded Java SDK 1.8 and am even using the sw.jar file provided by Justin above.

However, every time I try to download the Android SDK I get the attached error - any help is appreciated!

It looks like your java runtime is having trouble connecting to Google's servers. The URL Java is attempting to access is "https://dl.google.com/android/repository/repository-12.xml".

Perhaps modifying your cacerts file, as in some of the answers to this stackoverflow question, will help.
