Is there a way to zoom in closer to my character?

Or do I have to make my sprites bigger?

If you want all your actors to be bigger in general, you can just set your game to a higher scale (x1.5, x2.0).
If you want an actual zoom effect during your game, you can look into the zooming extension here in the forums, or you could use the image API to draw a part of the screen centered on your actor, and increase the size of that image.

Thank you for replying.
I didn't need a zoom effect, though thank you for suggesting that. I may use it later.
I tried adjusting my game's size all the way up to x4 and nothing changed. It's still very small.
The little purple spot on the grey area is my main character.
And yes, I'm using some already existing backgrounds and sprites while I get the hang of this. lol
