How to "grow to x% over x sec." the font?

The question seems to be very simple.
I have a button with a text on it. I use simple block "grow to x% over x sec." under "when the mouse pressed on". Right now the text stays the same. How to force the text to scale up/down with the button?

Create an image from the text and draw that onto the actor. You may also then have to grow that image instance with the actor if it doesn't automatically scale with it.

I'm assuming that you're using the draw text block on an actor? There's no way I know to resize fonts at runtime. Using the image API to create an image is the way I'd approach it. Maybe someone else has another idea.

Yes, I'm using bitmap font to draw in my case a number, and this number is constantly changing. So, its not like a button "play" or "ok" when you can make an image of a button were the text is already included. I'm using "draw text" block.

You could create your numbers as actors and then scale them.

This is what is happening with a bitmap font, isnt it?.. sort of... I mean, a bitmap font is a collection of images that I throw in when I need to write anything.

You don't have the same control over it though. Maybe if you're familiar with Haxe there's a way through some custom code?
