Hi everyone, I am a new developer and finally managed to draw my hero, but when I tried to move his image to an actor, all the white surrounding him appears as well. Also, what size should I make my actor if I am making a standard dized webgame?
Note: I am using Paint.
Thanks!

It sounds like your issue is with transparency. When importing a graphic, there is an option to "select the transparent color", at which point you can click on the white surrounding him. The issue is that if there is any white in your actor, it will also become transparent. If that is the case, either change the white in your character to an off-white, change the outside to a different color that wasn't used, or save the file as a PNG or other filetype that can handle transparency and make the outside transparent yourself

(BTW, I recommend Paint.NET. It's also free and has a LOT more options than standard Paint (if using Windows).)

And size depends on what kind of game you're making really. What kind of a game are you working on?

And 1 more thing: Now for some reason, when I open my game, nothing happens except a blankscreen, with no tabs like game center

I'd report this in the "Bugs" forum.

I fixed the transparency issue, but now whenever I select my actor to put in my scene, it acts like i am still holding a square, and it won't place him where I click?

Are you certain you didn't make him a tile instead?

I don't recall a "snap to grid" option (I believe SHIFT does that) that might effect this. Can you show us a screenshot?
