Help - Game won't start, files gone

I updated Java, restarted my computer, and when it turned back on, Stencyl's application was gone. It was only an alias that I could click on. I redownloaded Stencyl, and once I was able to open it, I saw my game. But now, I'm unable to run my game, and it seems that many files have disappeared.
I'm terrified that I've somehow inadvertently lost a bunch of data, and I'm not even sure how I could've possibly done so.
Attaching logs -
Thank you!

For starters, your logs say you are using the public build, when you, as a subscriber, have access to the more recent private build. I recommend you download that instead.

The bottom of your logs before the error message show: Module not found : /Users/[your user name]

I'm not one of the devs and I don't know exactly what that means, but over on Discord another user had issues with Stencyl's installation/not showing up, and it appeared to be an issue of multiple windows accounts on the same computer and administrator privileges, or somethinfg to that effect. So perhaps that's something you could investigate.

Another thing you can do is open Stencyl, go to Tools > Workspace > View Workspace Folder for this Game, and copy that folder. That can act as a back up. You can also go to File > Export Game, and the generated .stencyl file is another )and preferred) form of back up.

As it looks like you've already discovered for yourself, the specific error you saw was was filed on the issue tracker at  #1909. 4.0.4 will be available by the end of the month.

Since you're a subscriber, as Luyren said, you have access to the latest private builds of Stencyl. You could just download the latest today without waiting!

Oh, but of course, since the issue in question is that the install path has spaces in it, another possible solution is to just move the Stencyl folder elsewhere. Not inside your home folder anywhere, since your username has spaces in it. Perhaps "/Applications/Stencyl', for example.

I looked through some of your earlier log files, and I found that the install location you previously had for Stencyl was "/Volumes/Stencyl-4.0.3-mac/Stencyl-4.0.3-mac". It would appear that you were running Stencyl straight from inside the mounted .dmg file. When you rebooted your computer after installing Java, the dmg was unmounted.

When using Stencyl on macOS, the normal method is to drag the folder out of the mounted dmg volume, as you did for the latest download you installed. This stores the application permanently on your hard drive so it remains even after reboots.

Thank you so much for all your help, guys. I really appreciate it.
This may sound incredibly simple, but where do I find the most recent private build to download?
Thanks again!!

If you are logged in into the forums, you'll see a big "Customers Only" section at the top of the forum's front page, with a link to get the private build.
