Trying out MSE, but I doubt it will find anything that Vipre missed. Also tried out the new 2.0 version. Still have the jitters.

Random thought. Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

Didn't solve the issue, but the driver was indeed 3 years old :P

Okay, back to the Task Manager. You've checked CPU already, right? What about memory?

EDIT: Random thought. Try a fully Flash-based site, like Dueling Network, and see if you still get the jitter. I know I'm basically just throwing ideas out at random here, but...

In terms of AdAware vs. MSE, I have seen both catch malware that the other misses.  I often run both.

No MS products will help. How big is your graphics card? Model number? What java version are you running?

Graphics card is like 4 years old. I don't get how it could just suddenly cause an issue though... especially when I just updated the driver too.

I think it could be the code itself.

i say that because, the game i was working(v1.4) worked fine. But then after i upgraded to v2.0 Stencyl asked me to upgrade (the game i was working on) to be compatible with the v2.0. I said: ok no problem. But when i try to test my game, the game lagged and when i try switch to other scene it crashed. So i think in the transition of v1.4 to 2.0 (game or Stencyl) somehow some values of my game went wrong, i had to check and re-saved my behaviors and then all came back to normal.

I hope that can help. GL

Four years old? I've burnt out four graphics cards in six-seven years. But the first one, from 2002, was burnt out in 2007.

@Grweel, I don't think it has to do with the versions since she's uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times.

Actually, the code is a bit of an issue... some will remember that the oil spouts were missing for a bit... still unsure why that code isn't working in 2.0. It's one reason the reboot is being made from scratch.

Llama, I don't have a strong graphics need at this point, so it's all I need... how do you burn out so many (OT)?

It could cause the jitteriness, but I don't see how it could happen when stencyl was installed on another account.

If you're remaking your game from scratch, I found that transferring really buggered EVERYTHING up, at least for me.

Why, I use the computer a lot. I've got CPU intensive games running, drawing art, lots of renderring.... and out of four graphcis cards, I've only had two good ones - the first two I had, one from 2002, the other I didn't burn out since my dad gave it to a friend of his. the other three I burnt out on this computer, one was of medium quality, the other two, very bad, $30 graphics cards. I'm even using one that is partly burnt out. D:

What's OT mean?

Agreed with the bugging up. I just tried transferring Minesweeper... FPS dropped from a perfect 60 (with only 8 ms) to 30 FPS with about 50 ms update...

OT = off topic, but it was interesting to know the history of your graphics cards :P

For anyone who still has ideas, here's a non-exhaustive list of things I've tried:
1. System Restore (multiple times)
2. Uninstalling/Reinstalling Stencyl (multiple times, multiple versions)
3. Antivirus/malware/etc. (multiple times, multiple programs)
4. CCleaner
5. Updating graphics card
6. Scanning hardware/peripherals for issues
7. Uninstalling/Reinstalling Procaster (multiple times, multiple versions)
8. Uninstalling/Reinstalling Flash (multiple times)
9. Deleting all other user accounts on my computer
10. Banging my head against the proverbial wall

Well, I'm not familiar with Windows 7, but maybe you could um... install it on the adminstrator account.
With Windows, when you install it, the default account is Administrator. it is hidden if you add other accounts, but I think you can unhide it. I use it since I can do more things on it than with any other *admin* account. But then again, I'm on XP.

I'm pretty sure this is the admin account since it's the only one... will look into it though.

As in, when you click the start button, does it say at the top (or wherever it be in yon fancy systems) "Administrator", or does it say something more like " A Cockatoo"?
