On #1 is correct. You should see those 5 folders.

On #2, You got to have stencyl program installed somewhere. Otherwise, how do you invoke Stencyl.
Under this folder, you should see folders like:

- big red Stencyl C icon
- ext-tools
- data
- lang
- runtimes

Please search everywhere for this folder.

On #3 Application Data, it could be AppData/Roaming/Stencyl. Look around for App* and navigate down. This is the most important part. Please look around for it.

Program Files(x86).

For your previous post, it's installed under Documents and Settings I believe.

Try to get Admin priviledge and install stencyl 2 under C:\Program Files\Stencyl. That is the first step

I am Admin.

Oh, I just found out that I can test this game in the browser! Wow, I never knew that, and that works. Just testing it in flash player doesn't, but isn't it better to test in the browser anyway, since I can test for both ff and chrome?

Either way, I'll install stencyl under program files then.

But you definitely need to go find the Stencyl folder under App*.

Removing Stencyl when it was under program files (x86)(for that was my initial install location) was not allowed, because it claimed that stencyl was being run, despite me even rebooting the computer. Good thing I can test in my browser. Thanks for the help Rob - before doing some of your stuff previously mentioned, I couldn't test anywhere.

You need to make sure you are NOT running stencyl at that point when you are trying to remove it. If you still have trouble, I think you need to look around and make sure you have admin priviledge.

I wasn't running stencyl.
I do have admin privileges. This is the same admin account that was default when I reinstalled Windows for probably the 12th time in two years. Either way, web testing now works.
