Right now, a 0.5 fade-in transition is forced on every game.

This should be removed for the following reasons:

  • It's an arbitrary decision that should be left up to the user. Why is a 0.5 fade-in deemed a good fit for every single game in existence?
  • It prevents any scene transition calls the user might make in the first 0.5 seconds of their game.
  • When commenting out the transition, I've found that the process of testing my game feels way more snappy since I'm not waiting for the transition every time!
  • Users can easily implement their own fade-in if they want.

These are the lines in Engine.hx:
Code: [Select]
enter = new FadeInTransition(0.5);
enter.start();
