Duration for each frame has to be set individually, which is a pain if you have lots. I know I can set it procedurally, but it's not always convenient. It would be great to select multiple frames and set the required duration to all of them.

You actually can do so. Use shift or ctrl to select multiple frames, and then press the Edit Frame button.

Wow, thanks! Came as a revelation.
The phrasing of the label ("Edit frame") is misleading then.
I suggest automatically changing the label text to "Edit duration" or something like that when you select multiple frames, maybe change the "pencil" icon colour, too. You cannot actually *edit* multiple frames anyway (only their duration) so the change would make sense.
