2 weird issues, I feel they're probably openfl issues that you guys are not in direct control of so I'm just putting them together in this post.

First is when there are lots big actors getting drawn to the screen they stop drawing after a certain point, like they just get cut off mid-actor. I attached a png with circles drawn overtop where the problems are.

Second is that when I have a couple shaders going at once and a few actors then visually the actors and text begin to blink on and off, but the tiles are still drawn consistently. I attached an animated gif.

I wonder if these will go away once the high-memory issue is sorted.

Not that this issue is a priority but I figured I'd provide an update:

Apparently both issues in the attachments had to do with an overuse of actor "effects" like hue shifting etc. When I removed or replaced them with fewer effects then the seemingly unrelated problems went away. (The blinking was caused by an actor that would "blink" between 2 variations of actor effects during hitstun, and apparently the use of 2 specific actor effects... I think it was invert + tint maybe?... made all the other actors disappear)

I think I got this pinned down since posting about it. It seems *any* combination of two or more actor effects at the same time on a single actor would cause things on the screen to stop drawing. If I used only 1 actor effect per actor, there would be no problem.

As far as I'm concerned 1 actor effect per actor is ok if it's too difficult to make multiple work.

At the moment (3.5.0 beta 2), actor effects are limited to one per actor. Can't really do anything about this now, so I'm going to close this, but hopefully in the future we can get multiple effects back.
