Thanks nobodyX. I got the PM. I'll reply soon. In all honesty, it would probably be best to start off with a simpler style game. I mean for a first game we wouldn't want to go all out and find ourselves working for a year or so just to be disappointed cause the game was so big we missed a lot of stuff. We could possible build our first game off what we already have and that would save quite a bit of time. We would just need to tweak their behaviors some to get a good operation of them to match what we'd like to see.

Your ideas are pretty good, however. As I've experienced with Goldman's Adventure, in it's Lava Level, too large a level covered with many elements and actors on screen, may be a bit overwhelming and slow for some. Maybe when flash finally supports Graphics Hardware to take the load of of the CPU then something big like that might be better a suit.

I'm open for NX and Greg to accompany. An IRC chat sometime soon among us will help us communicate better. We'll just need to agree on when.

For me any time, Wed and Thur would be good.

Hey guys. Thanks for the responses.

I also like the idea of an Actraiser type game. The original was better than AR2 since I found the simulation part of the game very nice an include. But I think the general Action/Adventure style of part 2 would be friendlier to do. At least as a first try to get something neat out there. Perhaps something more sophisticated would be better off in a second release.

I tried my hand at a MM4 16bit style remake once with GM but didn't get further than enhancing the graphics in the game, and very simple gameplay.

I'd like to hear some of your music stuff. I think I've heard some before. Wasn't those the Mega Man tunes? Or was that someone else, like Arrow1 or Kirby?

I know that you know your stuff here and it'd be an honor to work with you as well. You've built most of the more popular behaviors and my favorite, the original Java based Megaman Kit. This particular game would require a more solid Hack and Slash mechanic that could mimic the original feel of Actraiser. Perhaps even a special hurled weapon system.

I was also thinking about something even more a bit simpler, and very popular among lots of folks. A Castlevania style game with a bit more path choices similar to CVIII Draculas Curse. Either one, AR or CVII style platformer would be nice to start with.

The only other thing that would seem to be missing is sound effects for the game/s, but so far I've been able to use Sfxr to create pretty much any sound effect I've needed for the last three games I've made.

So, if we can agree on an Actraiser style game, similar to AR2 where it's mostly just explore and Hack, then I can take the time to actually play Actraiser some to get a feel of what we would exspect to accomplish. Even getting this game organized, using it as a template/kit for an overhead Zelda hack and slash type game would be easier to work off of.

If agreeing on a Zelda type game, it would also feel better if we could get some sort of screen to screen panning system going but that's something a bit more complicated I'd assume since SW isn't too friendly for doing this quite yet, unless one of you had a chance to utilize the plugin system or what ever would help to create the panning system.

It's just a thought, but it would be nice to have a small 3 person group (including myself) that might be willing to collaborate with me to try and start making some games that could be sold to make some extra cash.

The two additional candidates would be a Musician, and a secondary block mode developer to assist in the game creation process. Perhaps one of those individuals who may also have some additional Graphics talent that could accommodate my own Pixel Art where I fall short.

I will still be doing what I can to assist in our beta development and finding bugs and sorting through the rough areas of SW. I would be willing to devote more time to it since now I will have some extra since the events of current.

The facts are I need to get a better paying job now since the household will loose a bit of it and thoughts of selling the house are very prominent. However if the house is sold (it's payed off already so that helps) I'll move in elsewhere into the sister in laws place so the extra pay wouldn't be an extra problem. I don't know of that yet though.

At any rate, I'll request a Musician and another Block/Code mode developer that could put some time in for Team Game Projects.

I was gonna repost to Forge all the tilesets and accompanying BG's for the Lot of Mario tilesets that were currently there with the newest updates ones. If that was OK. I just thought maybe I should since the tilesets and BG's are fit for an entire platformer game. I would guess all those are a complete set.

Sound good? Those are the only complete sets I have aside from a few littler ones. After I get the Sample games posted.
