Does anyone know a way to increase the starting value of the backgrounds horizontal and or vertical speed based on an X value? So if X = 10 than Background speed  = Background Speed +1?

Im not looking to cause anyone trouble of grief but Ive been around a long time and for someone to say that it's a coincidence is just plain a lie..  I was asking about the legality of taking other's work and likeness and using it in a game. Im not ripping you at all were all just learning, but don't post things that are not true. Someone will always catch you.

flash / web... I have an Imac just not installed / setup that PC for development yet..

Please be patient. The nightly builds already do have a toggle-button for the log-viewer / output  in the toolbar. At the moment you have to close the window manually or move it in the corner.
Ah no problem just wanted to make sure I was going crazy :) Glad to see it's in the works..

Blob I know what you mean howevre I am just asking. Nuss = Ness it's clearly an Earthbound clone Im not bashing anything here just wanting to understand the legal ramifications when publishing games "like or with aspects" taken from an original.

Would Nintendo not have an issue with this if it became popular?

got it working but you need to make sure you have a second layer generated it seems.

I watched the video and still confussed. Guess Im thick :) Can you answer this if I am having someone make graphics for me and I want to use them on original iphone up to retina mini and Air's what resolution do they need to be made and imported into stencyl 3 with? I tried various sizes but had issues with the actual size on the screen being way to large on 320x480 setups..

Took a quick look at it, but how is this even possible it's Earthbound characters and music taken directly from the game is that not considered illegal??

I ran into this as well. Best solution I found was to load up a stencyl 2.x version and the game and EXPORT the behavior out to a USB device and import them into 3.0 Check them one by one to make sure they work still.. I did that for a few things and noticed no problems... Hope that helps you.

How can I turn off the LOG? I know how to get a report should I need it however when you test a game in 3.0 now it generated a window with log info I dont need. I cant find a way to turn it off

Hows this handled on Stencyl 3? I created an entire game at the wrong resolution and hard coded starting positions etc. I didn't want to use the scene editor as it didn't seem to do what I wanted.? I want a universal app. I designed all my graphics now as 1920x1080 in Photoshop as well. My game is going to be landscape so I created a new game (no mobile option select-able) I set to 320 height by 480 width to accommodate the original iphones/touches.. I tried to import images for actors using my Photoshop as they are 1920x1080 and they are huge. 

No where in the documentation does it explain the process of setting up the game properly before investing time to find out all your measurements and coordinates are wrong and the app needs redesigned to work on different resolutions..

Funny how us "teens" don't heal as well, and seem to lose energy faster than my my drips to the bathroom after dinner.. :) Anyway wanted to hello to all the others out there. No I'm not in Germany German decent yes, spent two years living in Germany however. 

Anyway I am making some good headway with my game, core engine is done working on some tweaks to the gameplay and getting new graphics to improve the look and commercial appeal of the game. 

I do however have some questions if anyone can help me answer them. If I am going to form a sudo company as I dont want to list my games on the appStore under my personal account name what are the steps I need to do for this. I assume if it makes money it would need a real legal registered name?  what or where can I find the information for this?


Were here just lurking... Im still confused on the graphics size we should be creating for our games.

Im using Stencyl 2 as well, learning myself as I go as well. My goal is to build an iPhone and iPad capable game. I'm confused on what size I should be making my actors? and the backgrounds?

Im good on webpage development I have created a few myself over the years :) What I am looking for is someone who has already published an iOS game that can be a mentor to how to do it correctly, and what tweaks and changes I would need to make.

I would also love some feedback from others prior to that but scared to put anything up as someone could take it and release it as theirs while I am figuring things out.. How do you guys handle these things?
