Can someone tell me how this works and how to implement it?

Does it work only with vector graphics or? Maybe you change the buffer size for your bitmaps?

Old Bugs (1.x/2.x) / Removing Behaviors

I had a Code Mode behavior with an error. It wasn't something important but I wanted to test the game so I removed this behavior. BUT the game still can't compile because of this error. I saved the game and reopened it - the behavior isn't there but It still displays the same error from the non-existing behavior.

Ask a Question / Cheat Protection

I was thinking how to make an effective cheat protection for my game. The main problem is that even after 'compiling swf' flash is still somehow 'Open source' - there are a lot of programs that allow you to view the variable structure and modify the values of this variables while running :(

First I thought about obfuscation and keeping somewhere a hash of some important values. But... the game still can be decompiled. After revealing the source - you can do anything :(

I thought about some server side protections - for example a cipher with server generated key. Or even serialization and keeping the saves on the server.

How do you cheat the cheaters? :) 

Archives / Remove Debugging when exporting swf

When you press ~ you see the debug console. It's ok - When you hit 'Test game' you may need it... but... why when I export swf (Publish it) it still has this debug menu. Does the player really need this? I think that when you export/publish the compiler should ignore all debug blocks. The final product will never need them and they only slow it down.

Now maybe I can bind empty function to ~ key. But if I have any prints left in the code - they'll run in the background and kill my fps.
