Ask a Question / Left/Right Movement Controls

In 3 different games I have tried using the 2-way horizontal movement, jump and run movement, and the jump and run kit. In all three using those I run into a problem where after i use them in the first level and move to the second,  when the scene starts the actor immediately starts moving without the on screen button being pressed. Sometimes it doesn't happen for a few levels and after closing and reopening the game it sometimes happens in the first level played. I haven't changed anything in the behaviors. Does anyone know whats going on? Thanks

Hello. In Kirby's dreamland he does the sucking in air with the enemy and then shoots it out of his mouth. Would that be somewhat easy to accomplish?

Resolved Questions / Two door switches (Solved)

I have a switch using the attached behavior to open a door.  I would like to also have it be where 2 switches have to be activated to open the door. I also attached the doors behavior. How would I do this with my code? Thanks

I have a sequence of code spawning actors over time using the do after and do every time blocks then eventually stopping. What would be my best option of making it start back at the beginning after it stops?

How could i adjust the screen wrap behavior so when the actor exits the screen horizontally it will come out on the other side higher than it originally was? Thanks

The object of the game is to swipe the spike up and down trying not to hit the characters running across the screen. Every character that makes it increases the score. Ask a Question / Jump and run behavior issues

Ive experimented with the jump and run movement behavior and the jump and run kit. In the kit I only used the walking, jump, and on ground behaviors. I tried them both in a android game with on screen buttons. Ive noticed using both of them that every once in awhile when the level restarts  the actor will either automatically start moving to the left or right and is uncontrollable for several seconds. I didn't change anything in the behaviors and used the on screen buttons behavior. Has anyone else ran into this or know how to fix it?

I have a simple instructions actor that I want to show when the game is first opened each time. After the game is being played and the level scene restarts I dont want it to show anymore. What's the best way to accomplish that?

Ask a Question / jumping behavior

I'm wanting to make my own jumping behavior for my actor who when the scene starts is moving to the right continuously. I would like just a mouse click to make it jump. Ive looked at already made jump behaviors but I have trouble getting the animations to work correctly. Ive tried to make my own but can't get it all to work correctly. Can someone explain to me the concept of a jump behavior  or how to integrate the actors movement and animations into one that's already made? Thanks

I have 2 actors spawning off the screen moving to the right. One is on the top and the other is the bottom. I'm currently using the random number system to spawn them. The issue is it will spawn numerous ones of one of the actor in a row. Like 5 or more. Is there a efficient way to do this?

Im using this for player movement. How would i add jump animations with this so it returns back to the walking animations once back on the ground? Ive tried a few different ways but it won't work. Im using a mouse click to make it jump. Thanks
