Sorry, it is probably my incorrect interpretation of this

http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,9592.msg59081.html#msg59086

alongside this from the Store FAQ.

What happens when the Android and HTML5 exporters arrive?
We will give our subscribers a special upgrade offer as thanks for adopting us early on.

I expect I'm just an out of touch and date numpty :)

I know it's a few months ago now but wasn't the deal that accounts would be reset so that purchasing today would still give one a full year when 3 is released ?

Old Bugs (1.x/2.x) / Re: SW2 right-click block picking blocks freeze

With the latest nightly blocks selected from the right-click menu don't appear at all but are placed into a blank event (non existent ?) which is only visible when all events are deleted!!

Chit-Chat / Re: GS versus Stencyl thread at Gs forums !!
« on: February 23, 2012, 05:32:25 am »
Personally I think a lot can be summed up about GS in the fact that they charge $500 for a piece of beta software. I get the feeling at this point that the Beta tag is relatively arbitrary, but the mere fact that the continue to insist on calling it beta, is not only scary but odd.

I think the biggest advantage Stencyl has right now is speed to market. GS updates take forever, if it continues that way Stencyl will be worlds ahead in less than 6 months time.

Absolutely, what is the dark secret at GS HQ ?

I have always thought there was some very odd truth behind what goes on at GS. There are over 40 people working there yet they can't even fix the most basic of forum problems; it is very very strange. Perhaps they are dealing with a big ball of legacy code and all the original engineers walked out on them.

Old Bugs (1.x/2.x) / SW2 right-click block picking blocks freeze

Working in Events and choosing blocks via right click is causing them to freeze and they can only be deleted by deleting the event. Selection from the palette is fine.

A normal OSX screenshot shows

The blocks are frozen and cannot be moved/selected in any way

An SW2 'Take Screenshot' only shows

Android isn't planned for 2.0. We're targeting it for the next major release - 2.5.

2.0 is slated to arrive around the end of February. We'll begin an official public beta of it this weekend.

Has the Beta started ? Or should I continue with the nightly ?

@Jon Thanks very much for your attention.

I am on a MAC (best switch I ever made after 20 years of pleasurable pain !) and I'm normally pretty good with problem solving.

Basially at the moment when I open an iOS gamme the SW 2.0 interface does not modify to reflect this. ( Dashboard - MOBILE and Test Game (simulator/device) ).

I'm on OSX 10.6.8 and have installed SW 1.4.1 before. I will get to the bottom of this now I know how the software should behave.

Thanks again :)

Have the buttons Test Game (simulator) and Test Game (device) been relocated or removed in SW 2.0 ?

...ooops... Hello Everyone :)
