The leafs, ect, are made that way on purpose. Otherwise you could nab them as soon as they appeared on screen. Although the hitboxes for them, I agree, need to be formed a bit differently.

It didn't even occur to me to add the score onscreen when playing (herp derp), will add.

Graphic wise, yeah totally agree. Doing what I can and hopefully improvements will follow. :)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, I really appreciate it.

Version 2.0 of the game has been released and it comes with several  features and changes.

1. Name change! Duck Rush is the new name. Much better methinks
2. Widescreen!

4. Graphics tweaks and changes.
5. Bug fixes. Yay!

Duck Duck is a very simple touch game with duck and other farm critters running amok.

Here's a few promo codes if anyone wants to give it a look see.

Nope, nothing :(
Not a big deal however since most where either testing or had only 2-3 scenes, so no setbacks were made.

Still, venture a guess on a cause? Everything was fine the day before and that morning.

So I started up Stencyl just now and it asked me to log in, which was weird since I always just close it instead. Odd but I could have logged out and had forgotten.

Then bam, default welcome center screen and all my dev games gone. I looked in the stencyl folder and they are nowhere to be found. It's like it reverted back to a fresh install.

With iOS 6 around the corner I was wondering if any one had troubles with xcode 4.3.3 or even with iOS 5.1.1?

Old Questions (from 1.x/2.x) / Re: Vertical scrolling on iOS

Yes. I assume you mean the 4 way scrolling movement behavior. That works, but not really. Having the actor "pushing against the tide" as it were causes a constant jittering up and down movement on the actor.
Also testing it on the simulator and device causes the actor to be either invisible or not even spawn. No idea what causes that. :-\
I am building as mobile from the start to avoid any conversion from web to mobile errors that pop up.

Old Questions (from 1.x/2.x) / Vertical scrolling on iOS
« on: February 17, 2012, 09:28:30 am »
I am developing a vertical shmup (i.e. Truxton/Zanac) for iOS and have been confounded with the vertical scrolling. Such as the player constantly scrolling down with the screen. I'm currently using a auto scrolling behavior from the forge for testing the scene and have been unable modify it/create my own solution for the problem.
The way I see it, if you can have a behavior only effect a certain layer it would stop other layers from scrolling. Or is that even possible to do in Stencyl?
I've attached the current behavior I'm using. It uses a camera follower actor for its and is a fairly common one on the forge so it works atm for testing other things out.
Thanks for any help. :)
