Windows / Mac / Flash / HTML5 / Smiley's Christmas (my first game)
« on: December 24, 2014, 09:45:16 am »
Santa got sick this year, so he asked Smiley to fill in for him. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember where he had left his hat (or his beard!), so you'll have to find them as you go. Collect all the presents and candy canes, and jump on the mean Frownys who want to ruin your Christmas!

Play Smiley's Christmas here!

I'd love to hear some feedback from you. What do you like about the game? What do you think could be better?

Thanks for reading. Enjoy! :D

I just realized that the code to kill the player is in both the spike's code and the player's code. Removing one of them fixed everything! :D Thanks for your help, yoplalala!

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't address the problem I have. The problem I'm experiencing is that when the player hits a spike, it brings up an error (posted above).

Hello, everyone! I am new to Stencyl, and I have run into a problem.  :( Whenever my player runs into a spike in my game, the spike is supposed to kill the player. It does kill him, but I also get this error:
Code: [Select]
ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property delete not found on haxe.ds.IntMap and there is no default value.

My programming friend and I have tried turning the spike into a sensor, disabling the collision event, and removing the collision event entirely. Nothing less than removing the collision box from the spike has any effect. Could someone please help me with this problem?
