Ok, so I managed to get the text to show up (apparently you need to attach the logic to the scene not create a new actor).

But I still don't understand why can't I add the "set font to..." in the "when created" event?

Isn't the "when drawing" a looping function, meaning that I basically set the font over and over again every second?

Ok, I have my character set up, my animation works and he picks up bananas as he collides with them. Great!
But I can't figure out how to get a score to show up.

I tried the advice here:
But it's probably an old article because I get errors when compiling.

Ok, so I want to set up movement by myself in order to better understand the mechanics of it all.

I've set up the movement, but I can't get the animation to work.
Basically I want that each time the player moves the character a local event should happen that I can hook the animation onto.

For example when the character moves right a "MoveRight" message is sent to the other events. And when that message is received the drawing event will change the animation to the "Move Right" animation.

Thank you!  :)

Ask a Question / Scene editor shortcuts

Ok, so the transform shortcuts DO NOT work!

Especially the duplicate one, arguably the most important one as the whole point in designing through a GUI is not to have to do the same thing a million times over and over again!

I've tried holding down ALT/SHIFT/CTRL while dragging but nothing seems to ever duplicate the selected object/actor.
