Ask a Question / Re: problem in html5
« on: June 22, 2020, 08:30:20 pm »
Hopefully you saved your game after each update-[saved under different name]
It's a good idea to test after each significant change/addition,  best way to figure out the problem is to
uncheck the the change/addition to your game in the opposite order they were implemented and test the game
untill you see the game functioning properly and then figure out why the conflict occurs.

Ask a Question / Just One Question... Posible Pinning...
« on: May 14, 2020, 02:11:57 pm »
Picture example: Please enlighten me. how can we pin.

Why can I not find the Weld Joint code in the RagDoll example?
I do not see it in the scene nor events.
What the What???

4
How is is that the RagDoll joints are so strong?
Are those joints so different than Stencyl weld joints?

5
I have an actor that can not move at the top of the screen.
Under that is a an actor welded to the pinned/can not move actor.
an actor under that actor welded with Horizontal Movement.
The actor w/Horizontal Movement has a rough time moving after about 1 second.
If I drag  the actor that has the Horizontal Movement, in an attempt to help it [swing] al the actors[accept the can not move actor
spin and fly off the screen.
So, Why is it so easy to break a weld? How can we make it stronger?

or, is there a way to have actors Snap together at a specific point when dragged to eachother?

Ask a Question / Re: why does this simplistic blockset Not work?

I already have that working...
I'm trying to figure out how to have certain groups weld to certain groups rather than All Actors.
I need some separation of types.

I need actors to weld to actors

I need blobs to weld to blobs

I need stems to weld to stems

What?... You can create groups. Some defalts are, Actors, Doodads, Players.
I created a group called blobs.
If I put the actor in the  "Actor Group, it works.
If I put the actor in the  "Blob Group, it does not.

Ok. I see whats going on, but I don't why.
If in the Actor Group, it works - I put to actors in  a group I named "Blobs,"

If in the Actor Group, it works
If I  put the actors in the Blob's group, they will not weld. I do not know why.

ok.
what if I have random actors on the stage, I place two actors in region Zero, and release mouse on actor z to create
weld between the two actors of a specific group that are in the region?

That is what I'm going for.

If Two actors in region - mouse release on other actor... Is there something wrong in the placing of these blocks?
