That site is not fake from what i can tell. Even over at construct 2 they refer to that site when talking about sound file formats.

You do need a Mac to upload to iTunes connect I believe. You have to use the application 'app loader'

I have used GS for about 8 months.

I'll only use it to update the two games i have already completed there.

They ARE *that* slow...

IAP,Joints,Tables, GC Acheivements, other stuff... all were slotted to be out in SEP/OCT... IAP and Tables made it out in mid DEC... and the Tables are READ ONLY!

they had an ipad splash screen bug for months!

i foresee SW leaving GS in the dust.

yeah, 500 is pretty steep... and their HTML5 publishing sucks hardcore (your restricted to 480x320 resolution and you can only publish to THEIR arcade), the android has pretty bad sound delay issues, and bug fixes almost always take at least a month.

i personally think istencyl price is pretty cheap/reasonable.

@x70x i really like your idea, capturing ratings during a players peak experience of your app. it is along the same lines of how kiip (achievement based advertising/rewards) works.

hey photics, the concave shapes are for tiles only because they are stationary and never move (as far as i understand). even though you still get the little "concave shapes not allowed" when making the polygon, it still creates it and builds it. i tested it on ios using the preview on device and it worked. i did not try adhoc though.

Are you targeting flash or iOS? In ios, you would have no problem. Flash I could not say.

I do not. Believe the number of global attributes is that big of a deal. I think how often they are updated/called upon has more effect. ie. every frame or what have you.

Hey photics, I'm also from GS, I never got your textbook for over there, but I might be interested in one for here, as I have much less time to sit around and learn by myself these days.

You should definately make the book, I'm sure your book will attract people to istencyl. You could also have a chapter on transitioning from GS to SW.
