Paid Work / Looking for Artist for iOS Game

Hey there,

For the past serveral months I have been toying around with Stencyl; figuring out its twists and turns and such.
I've been longing to partner up with an ARTIST to help me make a game. I have an idea and I am able to program well enough.

The game will eventually be for iOS. The basic plot is you are a dancing robot who faces off against your arch enemy's servants in a dance battle. At the final level, you face off your arch enemy, who I named Dr. Jitters. I hope there to be about 48 levels at completion, but that can change.

Again, I'm looking for an ARTIST to help me out. If  you are interested, PM me. Oh, and any revenue made from the game will be split 50/50.

That's cool. There's no rush in listening to it :D

By the way, I don't have Skype, but I do have some apps on my iPod that do the same things as Skype. (video calls, groups calls, chat, etc.) The best one is Nimbuzz, which does everything Skype can do.

I'm interested in your project, sounds like it could be fun and a challenge to build!
I'm up for it.

Well, I guess you could call me a graphic designer, but I can double as a music/ sound effects person, if you would like. I use programs such as GIMP and Bryce 7 for Graphics, and programs like Audacity and Mixcraft for Music and Sound Effects.

One thing, will we need the full version of Stencyl? Because I don't have that and don't feel it's nessecary to have when at least 1 member of our team has it for licensing and legal stuff.

I want to try and make an iOS game with someone, and possibly make a few bucks from it. I am an, "OK" developer, meaning I am able to find my way around, etc...but I am a bit shaky. I am also not the best artist, so if you have artistic skills, I need you.  ;)

Current Idea
I would like to make a game where the player must swipe the iPhone screen in different ways to complete dance movements. They should be able to unlock different characters, levels, and moves. (if that is possible) There should be different unique player ranks, as well.

I'm open to any other ideas, so feel free to suggest!

I just started using Stencyl about 3 weeks ago, but I have learned enough to get around, and make a decent game.
I would like to collaborate with ONE other developer to make a game. I would like to sell it, and if I do, some of the profit will go to the other developer. I don't know how much though.

FYI: It's going to be an iOS game

Ask a Question / Can't Get Health to Work

I'm new here, I just started using this last week and I CANNOT figure out how to get my actor's health to work.
I think what I'm confused about is why, when I've attached the correct behaviors to the actor, why it won't deplete my actor's health!  I'm positive I need to specify which actors should lower the health of the actor colliding with it, but how can I do that?  :-\
P.S The screen shots attached show my actor colliding with another actor and it's health not being depleted.
