Another feature can be used; enabling mouse wheel to change field values of x's and y's by just scrolling mouse wheel over the field. This option is widely used in Linux. In other words, scroll mouse wheel up over the filed to increase its value, and scroll down to decrease.

A related suggestion:
Making comments available to be added to the right side of any code block.

Suggestion Archives / Arranging scenes using mouse dragging
« on: October 10, 2015, 07:46:39 am »
Scenes in Dashboard are by default arranged by name order.  If  scenes are named :  intro, LevelGroup, Level1, Leve2,  End. Simply you will find them ordered like : End, intro, Level1, Level2, LevelGroup.

This suggestion is to make scenes draggable easy to arrange .
Screenshot attached shows how this could happen. A huge new caret should appear to indicate location of new arrangement.

Suggestion Archives / Comment Container

Current comment containers either grows with text to the right as only one line height, or a fixed larger one that does not grow with text.

Suggestion is to add a new comment container that grows with text vertically down. Please check attached image for more clarification.

I would like to add one sub suggestion, adding controls to increase, decrease and reset collision shape border properties. Please check the attached screenshot.

@jmdgmedia, I am not shifting your good suggestion, but I think both drag and drop suggestion with additional controls suggestion would be perfect. That's why i added my suggestion to yours. If you are not accepting that please let me know to remove it from  here and add a new independent suggestion.

I stuck on level 5.

Good luck! Keep on!

Suggestions in Actor Type view (and in Scenes view):
Selecting an actor/scene icon will show smaller icons on the right.
Here I put only 2 icons, one for Behaviors and the other for Events.

Clicking Behaviors icons for example will will show a list of behaviors attached for this actor.
Clicking a behavior to edit or view.
These suggestions in Actor Type view can also be applied to Scenes view

By the way: I know there are other ways to view/edit actor/scene attached behaviors/events, however i am suggesting an easier way as a user experience. I think Stencyl team has made a huge effort in developing this wonderful game making tool. I am just suggesting tiny additions to make Stencyl one of a kind.

For your first suggestion, you can go to settings and change the tabs to be color coded according to (actor, background, sound, scene, etc...)  It really did speed up development time tremendously once I learned the colors.
    Thanks  ;)

Sound UI improvement suggestion

Adding 2 fields to view sound file names. one for mp3 file and the other for ogg  file.
Also 2 buttons to change each.
Current UI does not provide file names but sound resource name only.

Three improvements
- Icons appear on each tab for each object. Actors, scenes, behaviors, ... all have icons on their tabs.
This will make it easier when you have many tabs opened.
- Collapse button for the right pane. For example, in behavior editor, this button will show/hide palette controls on the right.
This will make more room to view your visualized code and modify easier.
- New button called "Actors attached". It will view all actors that have this behavior now. A new window or dialog box will show a list of actors. This button also can be presented in scene behavior editor as "Scenes attached".
Sometimes you need to know which actors/scenes have this behavior.
