First stencyl has its own resize tool, so when you upload any picture either in 1x or any resolution stencyl will resize it to all resolutions, its enough to remove the check box on the resolutions under settings ->advanced
then it will be automatically disabled under all the platforms.

at the end stencyl is made for people that dont want to go through hard programming and dont plan to create 3d games or "big games"

so stencyl now is your tool , just try to get familliar with it and then you will find everything easy.
also i can teach you if you want no problem

To big Image!!
you should use smaller image and try to repeat your background
the biggest image I ever used was 320x576
and I use the repeat background.

Your game could not be built, because one of your images is too large to be included. Check your backgrounds and actors with large sprite sheets. (max_string_size reached)
what you can do now is to go to settings ->advanced->Uncheck 1.5x and 2x and 3x and 4x
then save, after the save go to run->clean project
and then try it

As "iii" described briefly how things works, but try to open 1 tab each time, also install the resource monitor extension that you can find in stencylForge->extensions->Resource monitor, then download it. it will let you to clean the memory whenever you want, it will help you little bit, and as i mentioned try to open 1 tab at the time then close it to open the second tab. and try after each save to free up some memory using the resource monitor extension.

check this article
go to your stencyl folder under the program files directory
copy the file stencyl.bat and put it on your desktop
open stencyl.bat with text editor
remove all the code from this file
then paste this code
Code: [Select]
 -jar sw.jar
then save it, and rename the file to anything you want
then move it to the stencyl folder.
and now run your stencyl from this new file by double click on it.

From a personal experience, if the problem in the application about memory, then when you run it with flash player you should get warned about memory, then be sure your application will not run properly on android.
what is your background size? and have you enabled the repeat background opt as the picture here?

There is three basics in stencyl:
1-when create: that code inside when create will run just 1 time at the beginning of the scene
2-when update(always): the code will executed each frame
3-when drawing its pretty same as when update, it runs each frame but its most likely to use it for drawing(writing) on screen
you can export your game to .stencyl then upload it here that i can have a look and fix it then tell you what you should do to fix it.

all you need is to publish your game to flash
and nowadays all most browsers open the flash files such as google chrome.

so under publish select flash, and all you need is to have this file with you.

No it works , and i tried it now for you, new game with new scene and show keyboard on creating, and it works. check the pictures
which version of stencyl you have?
did you tried to do it as the following, when create->do after 1 second->show keyboard? I think it will work, otherwise try to reinstall andoid SDK as shown in the picture.
if that doesnt work for you, so uninstall everything Java,stencyl and delete the android sdk. and reinstall them with newest version of each.
let me know if it works now for you

Woow a big question, you are not asking a question you are asking for a game/app lol, but no problem, just let me know if i understood you well or not
I am not a musician, what I did understand is there is 36 sound file should be uploaded to stencyl yes?
for each button of your 12 , each of them generate 3 level of the note depending on how hard(how long) the user press on the button?

usually i use the initialize line in my first scene, and i show the ad in my second scene. but yes it works the way you are doing it.

do not forget to enable the admob from settings->mobile->monetization also to put your adMob key same place.

The easiest way to do it is to:
1-copy the .bat file to any other destination example to desktop
2-open it with text editor( the one came with windows is good)
3-put your new lines then save it
4-copy the new .bat now to stencyl folder with a new name(the name of the .bat folder doesnt matter)
