Currently PC but we will consider other platforms like Ouya and mobile if the game is well received.

Encountered this yesterday, Didn't add much to the game, apart from doodad actors, before it broke. All I can think is I had the game open twice so it may have conflicted. I will send you a link dtrungle, thank you so much.

Hey we are having this same issue with our game. We had it nearly finished for submission before this error crippled the game and it no longer works. I've tried removing these sorts of behaviors and rebuilding the game from scratch but it continues to fail. Not sure which actor is causing the issue and not the best at coding to be honest. Would appreciate any help or anyone who would look at the game for me, I will of course give credit and a reward for doing so.

Thanks a lot guys! good to hear feedback, we are generally hearing about issues with the button clarity so we will sort this out as soon as possible.Out of curiosity as this is our first stencyl game, when we submit another version of the game to 'stencyl arcade' will it overwrite the existing game and with that reset the view, likes etc?

Hey Rob, Yes we do have a decent foundation to work off, may be a bit rough round the edges because we been doing what we can fathom & piece together with behaviors though. PM me and we can talk further if you like

Hey guys at the start of the year as 'Rounded Squarish Development' we decided to take part in the 'onegameamonth' challenge, to get into the mind-space of completing projects on time and avoiding stagnation and failure to take concepts fully through to execution. We have been working on a game when and where we can around work commitments of course. We love the intuitiveness of Stencyl to build games so that was the engine of choice, at least for January's game.

We are now at a frustrating and difficult point in development where progress with the building of the game is little if any & it feels like one step forward two steps back. We are struggling with using sfx and enemy spawning is causing major lag issues. I myself am new to Stencyl and my strengths are game design & art so that's where you people come in. We are looking for a collaborator with this game for payment and it would be great if we could collaborate on future projects also.

The game we are making is CMYK, a vertical scrolling, endless shoot-em-up for flash platforms.
It is designed to be replayable with a fun and quirky feel to it.

The game will have these features -

- Endless gameplay

- random enemy spawning with SFX

- player that can move horizontally & shoot a projectile

- A trail that will follow the player

- incremental score that can be uploaded to mochi

I will link the basic GDD so you can get an idea of the game as it was but has now been reduced because of scope. I will provide the .stencyl file later.  If you feel you can successfully complete this task within this short time-frame please reply or pm me as soon as possible. I appreciate any help I can get but ideally need someone with good experience with stencyl & links to their past work if possible, as this needs completing before the end of the month, thank you. We will be using 'dropbox' to fileshare and can use Skype or whatever you like to communicate.

I'm happy to pay £50, this is negotiable if what is required from you seems unreasonable.
Payment will be for the completion of the feature complete game upon its submission to Stencyl arcade. This will be a one off sum paid through PAYPAL.

Hope this all makes sense, any questions please ask away :).

No not got any programming knowledge I'm afraid, We are pretty much focused on the game design and art so need someone who can focus primarily on the coding/creation of the game so we can maintain the design and get the sprites and animations created.

we have gone through some tutorials for stencyl yeah, really great game engine.

Thanks very much :)

A rough in-game mock-up for Pitted. Hope this helps people visualise the game better.

Hey Jon, most likely yes.

We are looking for some developers to help us as we are new to Stencyl and would want to get the most out a beta test. iStencyl is definitely what we are planning to use to develop the the ios game, it seems very intuitive and has all the features we could hope for.

Action/vertical scrolling shooter.

To put into game context it will have left-right movement and assault similar to Space invaders with "block-stacking gameplay" that could be compared to Tetris.

The game is built upon player dexterity and reaction time where evasion is key to survival and escaping the pits.

Hey SWATLLAMA, all the team will get an equal percentage cut in all profits made from the app store after apple deductions of course. We will be looking at the low end 69p/99c price point.

If have any questions about the game just let me know, I'd be happy to answer them.
