Ask a Question / How to write a word and go to the next scene?
« on: August 12, 2017, 09:23:47 pm »
Hello guys

I'm trying to do a typing game. And I'm using a game from "StencylForge".

I would like that after typing the word "house" for example, and clicking the confirm button, the game would go to the next scene.
can anybody help me?

I'm attaching an example of the game.
Thanks

Hello guys

In this first example of a game that I found on the internet (Annex 1, 2 and 3), the game adapts to different types of screen. Always the center part is visible and the edges are cut. (Game monkey in annex)

In the games produced in stencyl, this lateral adaptation does not happen. (Annex 4, 5 and 6)

Is it possible games made by stencyl adapt in different screen resolutions as in the case of the monkey game?

thanks

You need to send the actors to the correct layer. Let's say you've picked up the red actor, move that to the front, and move the blue and green back.

Sorry. I did not understand

It would probably be better to just use separate layers and move them back and forth as you need.

I did what you suggested.
I used separate layers for each actor and it did not work.
It kept selected actors and dragged past underneath other actors.

Hello guys!!

I'm doing a drag-and-drop game. The actors are on the same layer.

I wish the actor that I am selected and dragging stay on top of the other actors.

For example. I have 3 actors (red, blue and green)

When I select and drag the red I would like it to be over blue and green.

Already when I select and drag the blue actor I would like him to stand over the red and the green.

That is, the actor I select and drag should be on top

In the example attached below the actors obey the order they are placed on the scene.

Thanks

I created an actor attribute as it was suggested

I did it this way. But it was not possible to choose death for the actor 3

collision : when [actor] hits a [actor]:[(found under ADD EVENT :: COLLISION :: )
                        kill [choose actor: door]

I did it this way. But it was not possible to choose death for the actor 3

Hello guys!! Can anybody help me

I would like it when the actor 1 collides with the actor 2. Only actor 3 dies.

Example: one actor (player) collides on another actor (key) for the door to disappear (actor 3).

Thanks

Ask a Question / How to kill two actors?
« on: December 26, 2016, 03:14:04 pm »
Hello guys!!

I'm creating a dragging game.
The actor 1 I move with the mouse. And actor 2 stands still.
When actor 1 collides with actor 2, the two die.

I created a block for each actor. Collision / Type-Type / ... (Annex)

Most of the time the two actors die.

But sometimes only actor 1 dies. And actor 2 is still on the scene.
(Especially when actor 1 is not released exactly under actor 2)

Is there another way to get the two actors to die? And do not make this mistake.

Thanks

I would like it when dragging and dropping an actor anywhere on the screen, it move back to its home position

In the annex I have a simple example.

Thanks
