@sysads Thankyou! I'm glad you like the game. I used Affinity designer to create the artwork for this game. I was using Inkscape at first, but I felt really limited on what  I could do, so I switched to Affinity.

Quick question, so I read the how-to-guide,,41606.0.html, but it did not help. Where is the "import spot" for our .swf files? I uploaded my .swf using "Attachments and other options", but once I right click the file and open in  a new browser it just directs me to download the file. According to the post I was supposed to see a link similar to "". Any help?

I love sandbox style games. While Stencyl is such a powerful game creation tool, i was hesitant about how I can actually make this work in Stencyl. It took a little bit of engineering, but I got this simple "ball in a box" sandbox mechanic to work.

What works so far:

-You can move in all directions
-Bounce off walls.
-Tweak Gravity, Speed, Dampening(Linear Velocity), and Jump Speed.
-Also added a feature where you can close and open the box.

This took me a few hours to make (including making the buttons/graphics). I attached the .swf of the game so you can play it in your browser or download and play it. I'm still learning and exploring what Stencyl can do. I want to see how far I can go with this. If you all are interested tell me if I should keep at this. I'd love to hear any feedback.

I like the concept, but before anything focus on aesthetics. I'm learning myself that a good game not only has to have great gameplay, but compelling visuals as well.  Also what software are you using to record your screen? I'm looking for a good software to use.

@colburt187, thanks for the thorough review. Gonna work on it right now. And banner ad's cut down revenue? How exactly does that work? Maybe I need to read up on that.  I guess it makes sense, I have a lot of impressions but the revenue is eh, not so great... :-\

Try publshing the game as an xcode project. Run the project file in xcode. Make sure your device is plugged in while doing this. The xcode project will not run(This is supposed to happen). Close xcode.  After you completed all those steps try pressing the blue "test game" button in stencyl.  Make sure ios is selected.

This worked for me after 5+ hours of trying to get the test on device to work.

Another tip.
-make sure you fill out ALL the data under Settings > Mobile > Certificates(iOS)
