Ask a Question / Re: TopDown Collision not working?
« on: February 27, 2019, 09:32:03 am »
Things to check:

- Did you set the collision boxes to sensor mode for each actor?
- Are the collision groups in settings configured properly?
- Do you delete any collision shapes from your actors' animations?

Ask a Question / Purchased Indie, nothing happened. [SOLVED OVER E-MAIL]
« on: February 26, 2019, 09:13:10 pm »
I just tried to purchase the Indie plan. After putting in my information, I clicked the button at the bottom to confirm my order and nothing happened. No e-mail, no error, nothing. Should I worry?

How can I make procedural generated tiles face the right way? I'm trying to add tiles that have a thin outline to help contrast the other tiles. I'm using the Perlin Noise extension.

Attachment 1: Can't figure out how to procedurally generate these tiles in the correct order so it doesn't look like a grid, but more like an outline around the dark grass.

Attachment 2: I tried to go by what merrak said in the Stencyl discord: "For each tile at row, col, set up a tally. Add 1 point if the north tile is different. Add 2 if the east tile is different. Add 4 if the south tile is different. Add 8 if the west tile is different. The tally will then be some value between 0 and 15, and that will tell you which of the 16 tiles to set"

The new tiles determined by the code snippet should be placed over the default tiles during runtime, but nothing happens. Help?

Ask a Question / Can't compile to any platform
« on: June 22, 2018, 02:32:56 pm »
Hi, when I try to compile my game to Windows, Cppia, Android, etc. it gives me an error and an option to generate logs.

I've disabled all events in all scenes,  all behaviors in all actors and scenes, and reinstalled Stencyl and Visual Studio a few times each.  Nothing's working. Help? Is the answer just really obvious and I somehow can't figure it out? :(

Logs are attached.

Ask a Question / Re: "Test Game" tests one specific scene

Please can you post your code for the affected scenes?
(see attached)

Are you able to transition between scenes or is it only testing your default scene?

It is only testing my default scene.

When I try to test my game (not the scene, mind you) the Actors from every other scene do not appear. Help?
