It could be your actors physics settings, or thier collision groups.

What exactly should i be looking for?

It didn't help.
Collision doesn't work at all - My actor Ramona (and others) just don't collide with any other actors. Strangely, collision with regions works just fine... what the problem could be?

Hello again. I'm making a little script of player collision with Key - if player collects key - it destroys himself and the door opens. Everything went smoothly, but now i changed character and collision script doesn't work. Play can't collide with doors, keys, etc..
My character is Ramona Flowers. Her collision boxes are all right and she is perfectly functionable. I tried it with Stencyl Book Monkey and it doesn't collide too..

Yeah, i'm looking into it atm. I don't know, but i guess there was some problems with behaviour script.

But now everything works pretty good - game doesn't crash if character collides with Spikes, so it's good. But now i have new problem, lol. I'll create new thread for that one.

I just tried another actor and there was no problem with spike collision. I guess it's some problem with Any's behaviours then..

Stencyl Monkey works just fine.

But Ramona Flowers has the same problems as Any. I just don't get it at all..

Ok, thank you guys, consider this problem solved. There was some problem with actor, i still don't understand which one, but whatever..

Ah yes, behaviours. Well, i downloaded character Any from StencylForge. I added behavour "Always Simulate" just how Vaibhav Sangwan suggested. Then i deleted health and fire behaviours, because i don't need them in my game.
Actor spike has no behaviours at all.

A 1009 error means that your code is trying to refer to something that no longer exists. Probably an actor.

Can you post the code that runs when your actor hits the spikes?

Sorry, how do i do that? Post the code?

Spikes are Actors in my game.

Hello, i am once again here with a simple problem. I'm making a sidescroller platformer game. I added some spikes on screen, but every time player falls on them - game shows an error and stars working bad. I didn't add any scripts or events to Spike and i don't know why this problem occurs..

But now i have new problem - my collision script (in level Events - if Player collides with door - send him to next level) doesn't work if i change animation of the door..

Yep, tried that one, didn't work. I guess, the animation did actually work, but on the scene nothing happened: door stayed closed if i pick the key.

I did it like that, in the Events of Door.

Updating
If Key is True
switch animation to doorclosing for this actor

Hello again!

Please help, i need to do a simple thing: i'm making basic sidescroller, when character must pick a Key, and the the Door opens. How do i make Door change animation from 'closed' to 'open'? I tried several methods with animation, but they didn't work..
