One of the tougher rooms of the game, you need to get through while avoiding spinning sawblades, breaking the blocks on your way AND watch out not to get crushed by falling spiky red blocks:

Well, I know that I'll spend a lot of time trying to pass that level when I play it. :D

Wow. I've had nothin but trouble since Stencyl 3...

I've had plenty of trouble with Stencyl 3 too.   :)

But as I battle through, I'm enjoying the new power.
I've had no trouble what so ever. All my games have run smoothly with less lag, whereas I was constantly running into bugs and lag in 2.0. I really enjoy 3.0 and Stencyl did a amazing job.

The only problem I've had is that when I try to add an actor to my 2.X games in 3.0, it just somehow disappears when I test my game. It's a good this the game I'm talking about was already finished. :D

Updated! :D Try it out on Kongregate!

Ask a Question / Re: Where are my games in the new Stencyl 3.0?

It's simply because your games are saved on your original computer, not your account.

If you want the games moved to your current computer, either somehow transfer the game files to your current computer, or better yet, send your games to StencylForge and download them onto your current computer.

EDIT: Just be sure to refer to this when opening your 2.x games in 3.0!

I just completed the game that I've spent the last few months on, Insect Survival 2

I was going to say I was working on it earlier this week, but I decided to wait until the game was finished.

I'm so happy to try this out!

I'm not saying platformers are better, I don't like platformers very much myself.
It's just that I'm pushing to create side-scrollers because of the difficulty I have with making a top-down game in Stencyl.
So before you spend a bunch of time on planning out your game, test how it will be played just in case.

It's very possible to make a game like this, but Stencyl's best games are platformers, keep that in mind.

Games where you use your finger to spam a keyboard button just isn't fun at all. I wouldn't even consider it a game.

I'm lucky enough to use photoshop for my game graphics.
