Great game over here! :)
I really like the npcs and characters in general!
They are based on  something preexisted (I think I saw something similar in the past)?

Thanks Nickamon! :)
Yes, the game is working also on mobile and tablet, so I could release it on the playstore and appatore aswell.
But first I will release it on Steam to see how it goes (the game is more enjoyable with a joypad).

Chit-Chat / Re: Do you prefer tight controls?
« on: November 01, 2017, 10:35:00 am »
I prefer tight controls.
But I think that's all about the space between traps and your character.
If you have levels with lots of space (like in mario and sonic) loose control would be better (you don't need tight move to avoid enemies, and the movement is more smooth), if you have little space you need more control on your character, so tight movement are the way.
In my platfrom games I always  used tight movement.

Hi Guys!  :)

I'm working on the Steam verson of Plug Me! At the moment I created 50 brand new levels with Bosses.
Here you can see one of them:

Basically, because I have a limited space per level, I add a new trap every time you hit the Boss!

What do you think about it? :D

Windows / Mac / Flash / HTML5 / Plug Me - 4th at Ludum Dare 39
« on: September 05, 2017, 11:53:47 am »
Hi guys, I made this game called "Plug Me" in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 39 jam!
The theme was "Running out of power" and I managed to rank 4th out of 1300 games.  :)
I'm working actively on the game to release it on Steam and on mobile devices.

Help Plug-man to recharge the loading bar in this fast-paced puzzle platformer in which the timer is a physical object that forms part of the level!
Basically you need to reach the plug at the end of the level before the loading bar runs out of power!
You can use the loading bar as a platform, but be aware to not fall off!

Controls :
  • To start use the mouse and click on the first level.
  • Arrow keys to move (or WASD).
  • “X” to jump and double jump (or Spacebar).
  • “M” to mute.
  • “ESC” to return on the main menu.

These are the overall results from Ludum Dare:

You can play Plug Me on the Ludum Dare Page!

I hope you like it,
Alessandro

Stencyl Jam 16: "Spooky" / Re: Creepy Waka

Hi tiger!

I can't share the full behavior because is hue and full of stuff that doesn't concern the grid movement.
See the attachment.

Basically the behavior is inside the Actor.
The actor should have the size of your tileset (in my game was 32x32 pixel) and should be put in the scene with the magnet (snap to grid) button activated.
You set the StartX and StartY divided by the tile size (32px) so you can use the "Data for tile at row: X column: X" that works from 0 to the number of tiles of the scene - 1.

Every time you press the arrow button (like the UP arrow) you check the Data of the tileset, changing the StartY (if you are pressing the UP or DOWN button) or the StartX (if you are pressing  the RIGHT or LEFT button).
If the Data of the tileset where you are trying to going doesn't have an "X" you can slide your character to that position and change the StartX and StartY accordingly.
Basically you just need to put an "X" on the Data field of every wall of your tileset.

If you need more info just let me know.
